Mamie has served as lead designer on numerous life science, physical science, and interdisciplinary building projects for both public and corporate clients. A skillful practitioner of thoughtful planning and inspired design, she works closely with clients to articulate each project’s particular vision. Not incidentally, Mamie has maintained a lifelong interest in the principles of Montessori education and has designed unique learning environments. She has successfully translated the basic principles of a “prepared environment” into dynamic design solutions for academic and corporate clients.

A leader for Alliiance’s science and technology projects, Mamie also oversees sustainability initiatives for all projects handled by the firm. Her focus on energy efficiency is intensified by her involvement in high hazard and stringent laboratory environments, which often have significant safety and environmental impacts.

Mamie is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and the University of Minnesota. She received the AIA Minnesota Young Architect Award in 2014 and has presented at numerous conferences on research and learning environments.
