We are seeking creative, energetic team players passionate about design to join our multi-studio practice. Our work serves public and private clients, ranging from major institutions and international corporations to regional community groups and private businesses. This position blends project architect and project management responsibilities, working on multiple small to medium projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Professional degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
- Licensed with at least eight years of experience, including two years of demonstrated project management experience.
- Effectively utilizes technical software and graphic tools. Proficiency is required in Revit, some knowledge of SketchUp and AutoCAD, and competence in Adobe Creative Suite applications.
- Excellent communication skills, team collaborator skills, and a sound working knowledge of architectural principles.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assists in developing project documents during the design, bidding, and construction phases.
- Assists in developing design concepts and details.
- Assists with project presentations to the client and others.
- Assists Senior Project Manager with preparing strategic plans for project success.
- Coordinates project efforts, both administrative and technical, for the most efficient and cost-effective execution of sustainable design solutions.
- Assists Senior Project Manager as a client liaison to bring the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion and to the client's satisfaction.
- Assists Senior Project Manager in managing client budgets, schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks; and project team assignments.
- Assists Senior Project Manager with estimating fees, defining scope of work, and preparing proposals and contracts.
Alliiance provides competitive compensation based on professional experience, discretionary profit-sharing/retirement, discretionary fiscal year and calendar year bonuses, health and dental insurance, flex benefits, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, paid time off, paid holidays, mentorship, opportunities for professional development, and continuing education. (Base salary range $75,000–$90,000 annually).

We are seeking creative, energetic team players who are passionate about design to grow our multi-studio practice. Professional growth opportunities are available in our aviation, science and tech, workplace, and public studios. We are looking for self-directed individuals that can move tasks and portions of projects (exterior or interior detailing) forward with limited oversight. Excellent communication skills and a sound working knowledge of architecture principles are essential.
Required: Graduates of accredited architecture programs with 10 to 15 years of experience and are licensed.
Primary roles and responsibilities include:
- Works closely on a day-to-day basis with the project’s designer and manager to execute project plans and develops project documents during the design, bidding, and construction phases.
- Can be relied upon to present directly to the client on technical and design solutions.
- Coordinates with a project manager to directly supervise the team’s design and technical delivery.
- Skilled at coordinating moderately sized projects and consultant teams, with limited phasing.
- Understands and provides mentoring within a team.
- Coordinates phased quality assurance coordination and constructability reviews. Meets established project budgets and schedules.
- Effectively utilizes technical software and graphic tools. Proficiency is required in Revit, some knowledge of SketchUp and AutoCAD, and competence in Adobe Creative Suite applications.
