Clinton National Airport Breaks Ground on New Curbside Canopy

in

Congratulations to Clinton National Airport on the groundbreaking of their curbside canopy project! Designed by Alliiance, this project marks a significant step forward in enhancing the passenger experience throughout the airport. As part of the ambitious 2020 Vision Plan, the new curbside will provide travelers with protection from the elements, enhanced accessibility, and improved security. Beyond its practical benefits, the project will create a modern and welcoming entryway, reflecting the airport’s commitment to passenger comfort and operational efficiency.

The 2020 Vision Plan, developed by Alliiance, creates a functional and aesthetic road map for Clinton National Airport’s long-term growth. The plan unifies the airport’s older facilities with new developments, ensuring a seamless experience for travelers while building a world-class image for the airport.

Phase One, a $65 million ticketing modernization and terminal expansion, sets the foundation for this $275 million long-term development strategy. A standout achievement during Phase One was the terminal’s recognition for sustainable design, earning three Green Globes—the first terminal to achieve this prestigious distinction.

As part of the ongoing development, the curbside canopy is just one of many projects designed to modernize the terminal. Upcoming projects include upgrading restrooms, replacing escalators and elevators, consolidating the security checkpoint, and upgrading concessions.

Alliiance is proud to support the Clinton National Airport in shaping a future-ready facility that meets the needs of modern air travel. Learn more about Alliiance’s ongoing work with Clinton National Airport here.
