The buildings at Bryant Lake Regional Park are located in the center of this park’s high use area and serves nearly every park visitor. Park activities focus on both waterfront and upland environments.
The Outdoor Recreation Building is the focus of waterfront activities and is complemented by a boat and water related equipment rental building that also includes a bathhouse function.
Warm, natural materials, cedar shingles, cedar shakes, and stone are common to all buildings. The Recreation Building features a three season lounge/classroom that is divisible and can accommodate large groups.
The forms reflect the three primary programmatic functions of gathering, concessions, and restrooms. The functions are arranged along a covered walk, mingling the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Alliiance is currently renovating the building envelope, enabling the buildings to continue to serve park users for decades to come.
