Unveiling of the Spokane International Airport TREX Program

Alliiance, along with local architectural partner, Wolfe Architectural Group (WAG), joined airport representatives and community leaders to celebrate the completion of the first phase of Spokane International Airport’s Concourse C six-gate expansion. This important milestone marks the halfway point of the Concourse C Terminal Renovation and Expansion (TREX) program. Highlights include:

• Inclusive and accessible features catering to passengers of all abilities
• State-of-the-art passenger-focused amenities including Nursing Mothers rooms
• New entry and outdoor plaza
• Regionally sourced materials, fixtures, and finishes inspired by the Spokane/Coeur d’Alene region
• Electrochromic windows to maximize passenger comfort and energy efficiency
• Restrooms that enhance accessibility, convenience, and comfort for passengers

The next phase is the heart of the overall project—a new Central Hall which includes a centralized and consolidated baggage claim area with consolidated checkpoint. Concourse connectors will link the new checkpoint to all three of the airport’s concourses. This project is pursuing LEED certification.
