Ben Johnson
Associate AIA, LEED APBen brings strong airport and retail design leadership to the Alliiance aviation team. Through a holistic approach combining innovative eye-catching aesthetics with a solid technical understanding of terminal requirements, he creates engaging interior environments that enhance the passenger experience within buildings that fit their context. His project background encompasses both regional and international airport design, including work on Roland Garros Airport on Reunion Island and on Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar.
Ben graduated from North Dakota State University with degrees in architecture and environmental design. He is a member of the American Association of Airport Executives Northwest Chapter and a huge fan of Formula 1 racing. In addition to being a self-described “airport and aviation nerd,” Ben has an affinity for wood-working and recently began learning woodturning on a lathe.
