Lincoln Airport’s Newly Expanded and Renovated Terminal Opens

We are thrilled to announce the completion of the newly expanded and renovated terminal at Lincoln Airport this May. In response to the anticipated increase in passengers and airlines services, Alliiance planned and designed the $40 million project.

The project enhances the passenger experience from curbside arrival to gate departure with features including:

• Upgraded curbside and wayfinding systems
• A consolidated and modernized checkpoint
• Ticketing and self-service device implementation
• Modernized restrooms and gate hold areas
• Two new gates, with provisions for future expansions to both the north and south concourses

The renovation and expansion not only modernizes the terminal’s interior but also enhances the character of the original 1970s building. Design elements showcase the region’s unique environment and respond to the local climate with thoughtful design considerations including solar orientation and glazing extent to create a welcoming and efficient space for travelers.
