Washington Country Service Center Groundbreaking

Groundbreaking for New Washington County Central Service and License Center

in

Construction is officially underway for the Washington County Central Service and License Center. Project team members Amber Egofske, Ernesto Ruiz-Garcia, and Julie MacLeod attended the groundbreaking ceremony.

This mass timber structure consolidates community services, including the License and Passport Center; Property Records and Taxpayer Services; Career Force Center with Career Lab; Public Health Clinic; Community Corrections Sentence to Serve Classroom; as well as administrative workstations, offices, and support space into one location. A new service delivery model will be introduced that prioritizes equity and well-being and the use of mass timber underscores the project’s commitment to sustainability. Construction is anticipated to be completed by the summer of 2025.
