Faced with a significant increase in visitors, and much-needed operational improvements, the Apple House at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum was looking for a new facility.
The new ground-up facility, currently in design, is named Betty’s Apple House and located by the new Arboretum’s entry drive, south of County Highway 5 in Chaska. As a gateway to the Arboretum, Betty’s Apple House will maintain the signature rustic charm of the current Apple House while fitting into the overall style of the Arboretum.
The new facility will be open to the public year-round and include in-season apples as well as the sale of flowers, seasonal foods and gifts, and a Holiday Market. The project is anticipated to be open for operation in 2026, pending potential donors.
