Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) is in the spotlight! Our work on the MSP Baggage Claim Expansion and Modernization Project at Terminal 1 was recently featured in Airport Improvement Magazine, showcasing how the project enhances both operational efficiency and the passenger experience.
As a component of MSP’s multimillion-dollar, multiphase Terminal 1 Operational Improvements Program, Alliiance designed a baggage claim area that optimizes passenger flow, enhances wayfinding, and integrates cutting-edge baggage handling technology. The refreshed space also features higher ceilings, improved airflow, and a unique local touch—bird calls from Minnesota’s loons, chickadees, and blue jays announcing that your baggage is arriving soon. Paired with this unique audio are dynamic northern lights displays with lighting effects on the ceiling simulating reflections of waves.
These upgrades will help MSP better serve a growing number of passengers well into the future while offering a distinctly local and welcoming experience.
